Ipswich Festival – Animated Spaces
I’m working with some Ipswich artists and organisations to develop a program of performances and events for the Ipswich Festival which will utilise some of the disused spaces and buildings in Ipswich.  The idea is to animate spaces and bring them alive with music, theatre, poetry and art, it’s about creating a vibrant city while at the same time creating a space for Ipswich artists to perform.  We’re still in the very early stages of planning so if you want to be involved or can suggest a disused building that would be a great location for a performance then send me an email at tim.mcgee@qac.org.au or call 0428 745 693.

Networking Events
Early in 2011 I will be putting on a series of 10 networking events which will happen in Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, Logan, Redlands, Brisbane, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, Ipswich, Gold Coast and the Scenic Rim.  The focus will be on creating connections and collaborations between artists and also developing an online/social networking presence to promote your art to the world.  Stay tuned… I’ll have more information and dates for you in the new year.
