Creative Spotlight Events in Brisbane

Queensland Arts Council’s Creative Generator SEQ and Brisbane City Council will present a series of ‘Creative Spotlight’ networking events to take place in 3 locations across Brisbane on Wednesday the 19th October, Wednesday 26th October and Wednesday 2nd November 2011.

At each of the events, we will shine a light on 4 artists who are leaders in their field and give them an opportunity to give those attending some insight into their creative journey. What was there path? How did they turn a creative concept into a reality? Did they get a lucky break or was it just hard work and a passion for their artform? You will also have the opportunity to ask each speaker questions during a special Q&A following each presentation.

The evenings will also be an opportunity to network with artists and arts workers from across the city in central and suburban areas of Brisbane including The Old Museum as well as locations in Northern Suburbs and Southern Suburbs.

Speakers for each of the events will be announced over the coming weeks on this site and via @CreativeGenSEQ
